На 53 години почина Виктор Антонов. Той е звезда от световен калибър в гейминга.

Той е създателят на култовия City 17 от Half-Life 2, Виктор Антонов – един от най-известните и високо признати за работата си българи в света на видеоигрите.

От компанията Eschatology Entertainment, на която Антонов е съосновател, потвърдиха смъртта му. Към момента не са известни повече подробности относно причината или обстоятелствата около смъртта му, предаде gaming.news.

Антонов допринесе за оформянето на външния вид и усещането на някои от най-впечатляващите светове на игрите.

Като арт директор на Half-Life 2, той отговаря за дизайна на City 17, смесвайки бруталистичната архитектура с дистопичната научна фантастика.

По-късно той става директор на визуалния дизайн на Dishonored (2012), където работата му върху индустриалния, вдъхновен от стиймпънк град Дънуол печели широко признание.
